Environment, Health and Safety

Safety and Environment, Managed on One Record.

Our EHS solution manages environment, health and safety across the plant: incidents, permits, risk assessments, safety audits, training, environmental monitoring and compliance obligations, tied to the same plant model, assets and work orders the other modules use.

The challenge

Safety runs on registers, permits on paper, and the environmental return on a spreadsheet.

In many plants the near-miss register sits at the gate, permits are signed on paper and filed by the week, the risk assessment was last revised for the previous audit, training certificates live in a folder, and emissions readings are typed into a monthly return. Each record is real. None of them are connected to the job, the asset or the person they concern.

The result is safety that is proven after the event: the same near miss recurs because the action was never verified, a permit and a work order disagree about what is running, an expired certificate is found during the incident investigation rather than before the shift, and every regulator's visit begins with a search for evidence that should already be on hand.

  • Near misses in a registerReported at the gate, investigated if someone remembers.
Incidents with investigation and CAPAReported at the point of work, assigned, investigated and verified closed.
  • Permits on paperSigned, filed, and unknown to the work order they belong to.
Permit to work on recordRaised, approved and closed against the job, the area and the asset.
  • Environmental readings in a spreadsheetTyped in monthly, compared with limits at year end.
Monitoring against limitsReadings recorded as they are taken, with exceedances visible when they happen.

The solution

One EHS record, from hazard to proof

Our EHS solution identifies hazards and obligations, puts controls and permits around the work, keeps people competent, monitors the environment, responds to what goes wrong, and keeps the evidence. Every step leaves a record the next step, and the next inspector, can use.

  1. IdentifyHazards, risks and legal obligations recorded per area, activity and asset.
  2. ControlRisk assessments, control measures and permits to work put around the job.
  3. TrainCompetency, certifications and refreshers kept current per person and role.
  4. MonitorSafety inspections and environmental readings recorded against limits.
  5. RespondIncidents and near misses reported, investigated and closed through CAPA.
  6. ProveEvidence, approvals and audit trails on hand for auditors and regulators.

Modules

The modules of an EHS system

Each module runs on its own and shares one record with the others, on the same plant model, assets and people as production.

Incident Management with CAPA

Accidents, near misses, first-aid cases and unsafe conditions reported at the point of work, classified, investigated for root cause and closed through corrective and preventive action with verification.

Permit to Work

Permit types, prerequisites, approvals, isolations and hand-back managed against the job, the area and the asset, with the permit history on record.

Risk Assessment

Hazard identification, risk rating, control measures and residual risk per activity, area and asset, with scheduled review and change-triggered reassessment.

Safety Audits and Inspections

Safety walks, planned inspections and audit checklists with findings, owners and due dates tracked to closure.

Training and Competency

Required competencies per role and area, training records, certifications, expiries and refreshers, so nobody works a job they are not certified for.

Environmental Monitoring

Emissions, effluent, waste, water and energy consumption recorded against permitted limits, with the data behind environmental returns kept as a record rather than a spreadsheet.

Compliance Obligations

Legal register, licences, consents and their renewal dates, each linked to the evidence, inspections and actions that prove compliance.

Contractor and Visitor Safety

Contractor onboarding, inductions, competencies and permits, and visitor induction, held against the supplier and the site.

Chemicals, SDS and Occupational Health

Chemical inventory with safety data sheets, exposure controls and occupational health surveillance handled in the same record.

Capabilities

EHS capability areas

Capability areas below describe the scope of our EHS engagement, grouped by module.

Incident and near-miss reporting

Any employee or contractor reports an incident, near miss or unsafe condition from the point of work, with the area, asset, people involved and immediate actions captured at the time.

Investigation and CAPA

Classification, investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions with owners, due dates and effectiveness verification tracked to closure.

Permit to work

Configurable permit types with prerequisites, risk assessment links, isolation steps, approvals, validity windows, extensions and hand-back, each against the job, the area and the asset.

Risk assessment

Hazard registers, risk rating, control measures and residual risk per activity, area and asset, with scheduled reviews and reassessment when the process, equipment or material changes.

Safety inspections and audits

Planned inspections, safety walks and audit checklists by area and asset, with findings, owners and due dates tracked to closure and trends by area over time.

Training and competency

Competency requirements per role and area, training records, certifications and expiries, refresher scheduling and induction for new starters and contractors.

Environmental monitoring

Emissions, effluent, waste, water and energy readings recorded against permitted limits by source and period, with exceedances visible when they happen and the data behind environmental returns kept on record.

Compliance obligations

Legal register, licences, consents and permits from authorities with renewal dates, responsible owners and the evidence that proves compliance, structured around the standards your regulators and customers audit against.

Contractor and visitor management

Contractor onboarding, inductions, competencies, insurance and permits held against the supplier; visitor induction and site rules acknowledged on entry.

Chemicals and safety data sheets

Chemical inventory by area with safety data sheets, hazard classes, storage and exposure controls linked to the materials the plant actually uses.

EHS workflows and approvals

Configurable, role-based workflows that route incident reviews, permit approvals, risk assessment sign-offs and CAPA to the right people in the right order, with an audit trail.

EHS reporting

Incident rates, open actions, permit activity, training status, inspection findings and environmental readings by area, asset and period, without manual consolidation.

Native AI connector

Exposes the EHS data you choose to any AI platform, so it can process, detect, predict and optimize on it under the same access rules as the application.

Integration

Safety belongs on the same record as the work

A permit is only useful if the work order knows about it, and an incident is only understood against the asset, the material and the people involved. Our EHS solution shares the plant model, assets, materials and work orders with the rest of the manufacturing digital backbone.

  • MES: incidents, permits and risk assessments linked to the line, the asset and the work order, so a job can wait for its permit and an incident is seen against what was running. Explore MES
  • QMS: the same audit and CAPA discipline, kept as separate systems on one plant model, so safety and quality findings never get lost between them. Explore QMS
  • Supply Chain: contractor records against the supplier, and chemical and safety data sheet records against the material. Explore Supply Chain
  • NPD: hazardous-material and process-safety review at the gate, before a new product or process reaches the plant. Explore NPD
  • HR, ERP and instruments: people and training records, supplier masters and environmental analysers exchanged with enterprise systems.

Who benefits, and how

Designed for the people accountable for safety and the environment

EHS does not add paperwork. It moves the safety and environmental system out of registers, folders and spreadsheets into one governed record, which is what makes the outcomes below possible.

One EHS record

EHS heads

Open incidents, CAPA ageing, permit activity, training gaps and environmental status across the plant in one view.

Permits and risks at the job

Safety officers and supervisors

Risk assessments, permits and competencies checked against the job before it starts, not after something goes wrong.

Readings against limits

Environmental officers

Emissions, effluent and waste recorded as they are measured, with the data behind every return already on record.

Evidence on hand

Compliance and HR teams

Licences, obligations, training records and audit trails ready for regulators, certification bodies and customers.

Outcomes describe the intended effect of digitizing EHS processes. Quantified results are specific to each implementation and are not claimed here.
